১৪ এপ্রিল ২০২৬ (পহেলা বৈশাখ) রাজধানীর পল্টন ময়দানে মাউশুমী ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজ লিমিটেড (কিউট)-এর পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় দিনব্যাপী “কিউট বৈশাখী ক্রীড়া উৎসব ১৪৩৩” উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

উৎসবে সেপাক টাকরো খেলার জমজমাট প্রতিযোগিতা ও মনোমুগ্ধকর প্রদর্শনী দর্শকদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করে। খেলোয়াড়দের দক্ষতা, গতি ও সমন্বয়ের চমৎকার নৈপুণ্যে প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত ছিল উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ ও উপভোগ্য।

উৎসবের উদ্বোধন করেন যুব ও ক্রীড়া প্রতিমন্ত্রী জনাব আমিনুল হক, যিনি প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তিনি তরুণ প্রজন্মের মাঝে খেলাধুলার চর্চা বাড়াতে এ ধরনের উদ্যোগের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরেন।

প্রায় ৩০০ জন প্রতিযোগীর অংশগ্রহণে আয়োজিত এই উৎসবে তিরন্দাজী, ভলিবল, খো-খো, কাবাডি, লাঠিখেলা ও বলি খেলাসহ বিভিন্ন গ্রামীণ খেলাধুলা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। তবে সেপাক টাকরোর প্রতিযোগিতা ও প্রদর্শনী পুরো আয়োজনকে এনে দেয় ভিন্ন মাত্রা।

খেলাধুলার মাধ্যমে শৃঙ্খলা, আত্মবিশ্বাস ও নেতৃত্ব গড়ে তোলার বার্তায় দিনব্যাপী এই আয়োজন হয়ে ওঠে প্রাণবন্ত, আনন্দঘন এবং স্মরণীয়।

The Artisan 6th Man & 3rd Women National Sepak takraw Championship 2025 will be held in Dhaka at Paltan on 24, 25, & 26 October.

A Referee & Coaches Course (Grade-1) will take place on 22 & 23 October,

A Press Conference will be held on 22 October at Bangladesh Olympic Bhaban at 3:30 PM.

The championship will bring together top Sepak takraw talents from across the country, showcasing skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

On the occasion of July Revolution Day, a day-long Sepak Takraw tournament and rally will be organized as part of the Youth Festival 2025 program. As decided in the last meeting, the initial arrangements are underway. The rally will be held at the National Sports Council gate at 8 am on August 5 at the National Stadium. The prize distribution ceremony will be held after the final game of the tournament at 4 pm. A message has been sent to the President, all matters will be discussed and informed. I request all members to participate in the day-long event on August 5th 2025

The Bangladesh National Sepak Takraw Team participated in the 38th King's Cup Sepak Takraw World Championship 2025. The team departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on July 19, 2025, at 1:40 PM via US-Bangla Airlines (Flight BS 217) and arrived in Bangkok at 5:30 PM local time. From there, they traveled by train to Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, and reached the official hotel, Siam Oriental Hotel Hat Yai, on July 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

Accommodation: The team stayed at Siam Oriental Hotel Hat Yai, the official hotel designated by the organizing committee.

Total Delegation: 24 members, consisting of:

Team Discipline: The team strictly followed all rules and maintained discipline both during their stay in Thailand and while participating in the competition.

Return to Bangladesh: The team departed from Siam Oriental Hotel Hat Yai on July 29 at 4:30 PM, reached Bangkok by train at 8:00 AM on July 30, and departed from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 2:40 PM via US-Bangla Airlines (Flight BS 218). They landed in Dhaka at 4:20 PM on the same day.

On June 23, 2025, the Bangladesh Sepak Takraw Association (BDSTA) proudly participated in the Olympic Day celebrations held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. This event was a grand showcase of sportsmanship and unity, bringing together athletes, officials, and sports enthusiasts from across the nation.

We are pleased to announce the first meeting of the newly formed Executive Committee for 2025. This meeting marks a significant step forward in our efforts to promote and develop Sepak Takraw in Bangladesh.
